Best Civil Lawyer in Rohini Court, Delhi
Unpaid dues, a defaulting tenant in a Rohini market shop, or a dispute between partners in a family business — we file and defend civil suits at Rohini Courts from our office a short drive away in Pitampura.
A civil suit concerning a debt, contract or property in the area served by Rohini Courts is filed there — before a Civil Judge for lower-value claims or an Additional District Judge for higher-value ones, up to ₹2 crore. Above that, the suit goes to the Delhi High Court. A claim on a written contract, invoice or bill can often be filed as a summary suit under Order XXXVII of the Code of Civil Procedure, which moves faster because the defendant must first obtain the court's permission to contest it.

Civil disputes we see around Rohini
Rohini’s sector markets, commercial complexes and residential colonies host a large number of small businesses, traders and family partnerships. Most of the civil disputes we handle here are unpaid supplier bills, defaulting shop tenants, and partners who have fallen out over money and accounts. Very few of these arrangements are fully documented, so the first task is usually to reconstruct the paper trail — invoices, WhatsApp messages, bank transfers and any written agreement — before deciding how to proceed.
Filing at Rohini Courts
We file the suit with jurisdiction and value assessed correctly from the outset: a wrongly valued or wrongly filed plaint invites objections that can delay a case by months before it is even heard on merits. Where the claim rests on a written document — an invoice, a cheque, a promissory note or a signed acknowledgment — we generally use the summary procedure under Order XXXVII, which puts the burden on the defendant to justify a defence before the case proceeds to trial.
Commercial tenancies and partnerships
Shop and office tenancies in Rohini’s markets are frequently informal or on short, unregistered agreements, which changes how eviction and rent recovery need to be approached. Partnership disputes between family members or long-standing business associates raise their own issues — accounts, valuation of the business, and whether the partnership deed requires arbitration instead of a suit. We identify the correct forum and remedy before any notice goes out.
From interim order to execution
Many civil matters are effectively won or lost at the interim stage — an injunction that stops a sale, or an order attaching funds before they are moved. We prepare these applications to be ready on the first date. Once a decree is passed, we do not treat the matter as closed: execution is filed promptly at Rohini Courts, and we stay on it — attachment, sale of property, or other steps the law allows — until you are actually paid.
How we handle your matter
We know the Rohini trading community
Rohini's sector markets and commercial complexes have a dense network of shopkeepers, distributors and family-run businesses. Disputes here often turn on unwritten understandings and part-paid dues — we know what evidence a court will actually accept.
Interim relief prepared for the first date
An injunction or attachment application is often more decisive than the final judgment. We prepare it with the documents and valuation the court needs to act at the very first hearing.
A decree that is actually enforced
A judgment on paper is not the same as money in hand. We file execution promptly at Rohini Courts and follow it through — attachment, sale or arrest and detention where the law allows.
Civil Lawyer, Rohini Court: common questions
Which court in Rohini hears my civil claim?
It depends on the value and the subject matter. Civil Judges at Rohini Courts hear lower-value suits, Additional District Judges hear higher-value ones up to ₹2 crore, and suits above that go to the Delhi High Court. We check jurisdiction before filing so the plaint is not returned or objected to later.
A tenant in my Rohini shop has stopped paying rent. What can I do?
We can send a notice terminating the tenancy and, if the tenant does not vacate, file a suit for eviction and recovery of arrears. Commercial tenancies move differently from residential ones, and the lease or rent agreement — even an unregistered one — usually decides the process.
My business partner has stopped sharing accounts. What is my remedy?
You can seek dissolution of the partnership, a rendition of accounts and your share of the profits and assets, either through the courts or, where the partnership deed provides for it, through arbitration. We first look at the deed and the books before deciding the route.
How fast is a summary suit compared to an ordinary one?
Considerably faster where it applies. Under Order XXXVII, a summary suit is available for claims based on a written contract, bill of exchange or similar document. The defendant must apply for leave to defend and show a real defence, or judgment can be entered without a full trial.
Can I stop the other side from selling or disposing of an asset while my case is pending?
Yes, through an interim injunction or, in a stronger case, attachment before judgment under Order XXXVIII, where there is a real risk the defendant will move or dispose of assets to defeat the eventual decree. Both need prompt filing and clear evidence of that risk.
What happens after I win but the other side still does not pay?
You file an execution petition before the same court. It can attach and sell property, freeze bank accounts, or in some cases order civil detention of the judgment debtor. We move on execution immediately after the decree, before assets can be moved out of reach.
